The Brilliance of Multi Level Marketing

Open your mind - unlock your abundance. It’s really amazing to see all the ways you can limit yourself with your mindset. The ways you hold yourself back are often disguised as something else. In this blog I explain why the concept of network marketing is actually brilliant.

.

.

For a long time I’ve had mixed feelings about network marketing. I painted all MLM’s with a broad brush stroke, feeling like they were all sleazy pyramid schemes designed to take advantage of people. In reality there is nothing inherently wrong or flawed with this kind of system. To flip a common refrain - you can hate the player, but don’t hate the game.

.

.

Because humans are flawed and fallible sometimes they engage in tactics and behaviors that are annoying, manipulative, etc. I’ve had that experience with some people who are part of an MLM - so for a long time I assumed everyone and all network marketing would be that way. Turns out that’s actually not true - just because SOME people have questionable business practices (as they do in every single sector) that doesn’t mean the MLM system is inherently flawed.

.

.

Some MLM’s push/peddle crappy products - that doesn’t mean every single company is bad though. Some have compensation plans that are exploitative and nonsensical. Again - you’ll find unethical players and products in every single sector across the globe.

.

.

There are multiple reasons why being part of a network marketing company could be one of the best decisions you ever make. It’s no coincidence that 75% of network marketers are women. Here are some of the reasons why:

.

.

As we know it’s quite difficult to juggle all the things - children, family, your own physical health, your spiritual life, giving back and receiving a paycheck. Network marketing is something women can do from home in between all of their other responsibilities. A network marketing platform can give a housewife an incredible opportunity.

.

.

The average millionaire has six different streams of income. SIX. Being part of an MLM can be an amazing additional stream through which abundance can flow.

.

.

People always talk nowadays about “feminizing” their business but then proceed to do everything themselves, alone on their own island, burnt out, overworked and underpaid. Being part of an MLM inherently puts relationship (a core energetic feminine principle) front and center. You’re simply sharing products and opportunities with other people. You’re part of a team that is committed, passionate, accountable and has your back.

.

.

It’s so easy to bash an MLM but really it could be an awesome opportunity to work from home, be your own boss, make your own schedule, get access to coaching and personal development, completely transform your relationship with money, make new friends and be in control of your own destiny.

.

.

The reason why people make money in most MLM’s is connected to the fact that the company doesn’t have to pay and outsource their marketing and advertising. Nor do they have to pay to have warehouses and storefronts. Since those costs don’t exist - they’re able to create a commission structure for those who are sharing and selling the products with others. In many ways it’s truly genius.

.

.

Instead of just ordering something on Amazon - you could actually *help* someone you personally know by buying through her. She could benefit directly from your purchase instead of all the profit just going directly to the top. You could just be a happy consumer and call it a day or share the products yourself and make some residual income.

.

.

Overall in life and business one way is not better than another. All paths wind around the same mountain. You’ve got to figure out what works for YOU. Stay tuned for my next blog post about why I’m intentionally rolling an MLM into the current work I do - holistic business coaching, astrology, yoga and wellness. I can’t wait to share with you more .
